Christy Ng: A Celebrated Malaysian Shoe Designer – Revamping the Retail Experience

Since launching her brand in 2000, Christy Ng has become a renowned name in Malaysian shoe design. Her journey began with the opening of her first outlet in 2012, followed by her third store at Mytown Mall, Cheras, in 2017. After eight successful years, it’s time for a fresh new look that reflects the growth and evolution of her business.

The previous store design featured a sturdy, minimalistic aesthetic, which lacked the inspiration and visual appeal to match her brand’s dynamic spirit. Seizing this opportunity, Christy Ng and her design team, Neewclues Design, embarked on an exciting renovation project to create an impressive and vibrant shopping environment.

The revamped store introduces a lively and welcoming atmosphere, achieved through the clever use of vibrant colors in the wall finishes, flooring, and display furniture. For the soft flooring finishes, Neewclues Design selected Polyflor XL Pu Series — specifically, 3880 Porcelain and 3870 Rose Quartz — to beautifully complement the bold new look.

This transformation not only elevates the store’s aesthetic appeal but also reinforces Christy Ng’s commitment to innovation and excellence in her retail experience.
